Prevention-Centered Dentistry

We now have the knowledge and the tools to be proactive when dealing with dental disease. When a preventive plan is implemented early in a child’s life, we can identify children at risk, educate and guide parents and, when necessary, provide effective interventions aimed at interrupting the decay process so restorations can be minimized or avoided.

Sedation

When procedures are explained in positive, age appropriate, child friendly terms, most children do very well during dental treatment. However, we appreciate each child’s uniqueness and limitations and offer sedation to ensure each child receives the care they need in a safe, comfortable setting. Our sedation options include in-office anesthesia provided by Dr. Hector Vila. Dr. Vila is a medical doctor with a specialty in anesthesia and advanced training in pediatric anesthesia.

Emergency Care

Parents take comfort knowing they can pick up the telephone and contact Dr. Ron either during office hours or after, in the event of a dental emergency.
